Orthopedic Chair Massage was developed by Terry Tosh, LMT after she realized that the Massage Chair was an effective way to deliver James Waslaski's Orthopedic Massage. This technique is extremely effective for acute or chronic muscle and/or joint pain. In this seminar you will learn how to use a massage chair to deliver this technique to the various regions of the body with proper client placement.
About the Instructors
Terry Tosh, LMT has obtained over 550 hours of Orthopedic Massage training directly under founder, James Waslaski. She was also a Teaching Assistant for James Waslaski for several years and became the first therapist certified in Orthopedic Massage in the state of Pennsylvania. Terry has obtained extensive training in Active Isolated Stretching under founder, Aaron Mattes and was a teaching assistant for him for several years. Terry is also a certified instructor for the Red Cross, and teaches several CPR/First Aid classes throughout the year. Terry's years of experience and her approachable manner make her an excellent and patient instructor.
Robert Tosh, DC is an Anatomy & Physiology instructor at the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy as well as the Director. He has had an active Chiropractic practice in Quakertown since 1984 and was an instructor at the Pennsylvania Chiropractic College. Dr. Tosh's years of teaching and clinical experience uniquely qualifies him as an instructor for this course.
